Computer technician

Exciting high-tech company needs help. We rent laptop computers, lcd projectors and other equipment all over the U.S. and Canada. We have an immediate opening for an entry level technician in our workshop. This job is interesting and challenging. You will be responsible for checking in all the equipment as it comes off rental. Don’t worry if you have no computer technician experience. We will teach you everything you will need.

This is a great way to build skills, make some money and have a lot of fun doing it.

Here is what you will learn:

1. How to “ghost” laptop hard drives.
2. How to change major components (screens, keyboards, motherboards, etc) in the laptops.
3. How to install every conceivable application or operating system.
4. How to work with projectors.
5. How to eliminate excess movement in a process.
6. How to turn around 100 laptop computers in one day so our clients can use them again.

Since we don’t need you to have any experience, here are the key traits that will work in our environment:

1. You must be easy going.
2. You must be able to learn new things.
3. Ambition is key to success. If you want to grow, then we want you.
4. Punctuality is important in our line of work. Our team depends on each other.
5. The most important part of our business is our clients. They come first. If you are rude and obnoxious, go get a job somewhere else.

We are a small team of people who work very closely together. You will make good money and with regular raises. Due to our size, we cannot offer a group health insurance plan. However, we have options there as well.
